Who Are They?
Peter Ferreira’s family owned a bakery while he was growing up. As he got older, Peter because a fitness enthusiast and a runner and found himself with a highly regimented diet. Being around delicious baked goods all day made him feel deprived and miss the foods that he had eliminated from his diet. He had an ah-ha moment and decided to make peanut butter that was packed with protein. Within one year it launched in the market!
Peter looked to let other fitness enthusiasts know about his product and contacted Shark Tank, which landed him a spot on the show back in 2013. He was able to get money from investors and has become one of the greatest success stories from the show!
What Is It?
Nuts N’ More is a high protein nut spread that now comes in a variety of flavors such as peanut butter, salted caramel, birthday cake and more. Each is made with whey protein isolate and contains xylitol, which is a sugar alcohol used as a natural sweetener (please note- xylitol can be harmful to animals, especially to our canine friends). Their products are gluten-free and contain no artificial ingredients.
It is packed with protein, with each flavor at about 10 grams of protein per serving. It has about 9 grams of carbs per serving, which comes from fiber and xylitol.

How Does It Taste?
I am a huge peanut butter fan and this did not disappoint. I found all the flavors to be rich, creamy and extremely flavorful. The cookie dough was my favorite, as well as one of their bestsellers, and really made me feel like I was eating raw cookie dough straight out of a bowl. The salted caramel was very tasty with just the right mix of sweet and salty. I also enjoyed the birthday cake and toffee crunch.
Right now, they have a limited seasonal line and I bet the pumpkin spice and apple crisp are out of this world!

My Review
Nuts N’ More is one of the tastier low-carb, high-protein snacks I’ve tried. I find it to be so rich that I don’t need a lot to be satisfied. While it is a little pricey, a little goes a long way. I found the products to be very versatile and enjoyed them in my protein shakes as well. They don’t spike my blood sugar at all and I don’t feel guilty about indulging. I highly recommend this product!
