Who They Are
The Children’s Diabetes Foundation (CDF) was founded in the 1970s and is dedicated to fundraising efforts specifically for children living with type 1 diabetes. The organization is affiliated with the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, which provides state-of-the-art medical care for children with diabetes and dedicates its research efforts solely to diabetes prevention and treatment.
The CDF mission is committed to “support of research in diabetes and to provide the best possible clinical and educational programs” with the mission to “raise funds to support the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, where thousands of patients of all ages from all over the world receive the finest diabetes care available.”
In addition to staff members, CDF is supported by over 300 volunteers.
